About Me: Whidbey Island Real Estate Agent

I started selling real estate in Anchorage, Alaska and, over the years, have been associated with both Coldwell Banker and ReMax. I joined Whidbey Properties, Inc. and, in time, became a co-owner, because I felt that as part of a select group of highly-experienced realtors, I could do business the way I wanted to: In a relaxed, informal setting, with lots of personalized attention, but with a full range of services, along with the highest professional standards.
 


Free of corporate pressure and overhead, we can take the time to get to know you, your family, your specific requirements and issues. I think I'm proudest of the fact that a lot of my closest friends are former clients, and a lot of my clients are referrals.

I live here (near Freeland) with my husband Ron, a pilot (a former Hurricane Hunter and a Uniformed Services retiree), and our daughter, Brooke. I know what your concerns are because I share them. I know because Brooke goes to school here and participates in all the activities (dance, sports, 4H, summer camp, etc.) you'll want to know about for your kids. I know because we go to church, we support community theatre; I take my pets to the vet and shop in the local stores. I can recommend a good electrician or help you find that great little restaurant. I have a B.S. from FIU in Miami, and an M.Div. (cum laude) from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington D.C. I interned as an E.R. chaplain at Tampa General Hospital, so I've dealt with major traumas; calming and reassuring nervous clients is just part of the job for me.
 
My other passion, besides real estate, is my animals. I have two Paso Fino horses that I ride in competitions (Note from husband: Ask about her blue ribbons at your own risk!); That's me below riding in the 2008 Calgary Stampede parade.

Above all, I am an experienced real estate professional, with a thorough understanding of 1031 exchanges, covenants and deed restrictions, zoning, contracts, contingencies, financing, etc., etc. I know the Whidbey Island real estate market from Clinton to Langley to Freeland to Greenbank to Coupeville to Oak Harbor, and everything in between.
